About a month ago, I was tagged by with an original character tag. I've also seen a few others tagged, sharing their OCs and happily, I was introduced to some pretty unique and interesting characters. So without further ado, here's one of my OCs, Mackenzie and seven facts surrounding him.
<da:thumb id="606507783"/>
1. Mackenzie is one of many OCs I've created over the course of several stories I've started writing. He's one of the lead henchmen to the crime lord Riordan in the story Last One Standing: World Domination.
2. His physical appearance, particularly his hair style, was modeled after Dmitri from Fox's Anastasia.
3. Mackenzie has medical knowledge and is how he got close enough to my character to nearly capture her for Riordan without violent confrontation.
4. Originally intended to be a bit of a sleazeball to make him a secondary villain, as the author, I grew a soft spot for him and ended up changing his personality both in overall make up and complexity.
5. Like all the henchmen in the story, he is expected to be versatile in combat, however, he is one of a few to have extensive training in various martial arts.
6. His clothing color combination hasn't changed even though it was intended as a reflection of his original personality.
7. I've been drawing Mackenzie (albeit occasionally) since I was in high school, meaning for nearly two decades. I'm dating myself. I've saved those drawings and he's one of the best markers for my evolution of artistic progression.
While the character tags all seem to have the rule to tag others' characters for them to perpetuate this feature, I refuse. Instead, if interested, simply link back to me with an OC spotlight of your own for me to view.

Project DFC: Rondeaux in Juillet 2020
Hello everyone! :wave: OneWithTheStars here for @ProjectDFC and welcome to the 2020 edition of Rondeaux in Juillet! (I am stunned speechless that group journals FINALLY have a "save as draft" feature so you don't have to spend hours in one shot at the time to post to craft it! The best part is, I tried it just now and went back in and it WORKS. One step back toward the functionality we once had... :faint: ) Rondeaux in Juillet (RIJ) (OMG, center alignment is back! :squee: ) (Ahem, too many personal excitement bursts there... Eclipse has a long way to go, but hooray for some covertly implemented, much-needed reinstatements of function to journals at least with the hopes of many more to come...) ProjectDFC was defined by its love for poetic forms. And not just the forms that many of us are accustomed to seeing, but trying to grasp various forms from around the world for the exposure to the many different ones various regions have to offer as well as try our hands at them
Prose-ject: Little Prose 2020
(I literally had this entire thing done--took two hours--and then realized I had created it in my personal journal writer and not the group one. :stare: I can't even copy and paste it from one to the other without a mass vomit of emojis mixed in with the text. That doesn't include all the things that DON'T transfer over. Eclipse, you still suck flaming charcoal nuggets and the separate literature and journal editors are collective, utter garbage). :onfire: Hello everyone! :wave: OneWithTheStars here for @Prose-ject and welcome to the 2020 edition of Little Prose! Little Prose (LP) (Yeah, we still have no center alignment capabilities...) July is National Flash Fiction Month, where many will continue the daily quest to write prose. Between our last month’s challenge of Prose-ject 2020 and NaFlaFicMo, those participating might feel a bit sick of prose writing. :faint: But there’s good news! Little Prose serves as a bit of a breather! Born from the exhaustion of
Prose-ject: Prose-ject 2020
Hello, everyone! :wave: OneWithTheStars here for @Prose-ject and while this is super late, I have tried super hard to navigate through the wreckage that is Eclipse to hopefully bring a great journal post for the namesake of Prose-ject to you all. Without further ado, I give you Prose-ject 2020. PROSE-JECT 2020 (Still bummed I cannot center align anything in journals... :no: ) Just what is the Prose-ject? Well, it's a fun way of getting yourself to write every day for the month! (Basically our version of Flash Fiction Month, which happens in July, but here at @Prose-ject, we want to get you into the daily writing flow in preparation for our grand and glorious gauntlet coming up over the following months, working up the word counts to prepare those daring souls that partake in NaNoWriMo in November...or simply for those preferring the lighter word counts than 50k, so stay tuned for the upcoming STORMs). We don't have a cap on the word count for the submissions, so push your
Project DFC: Jubilant Japanese June 2020
(This is like the third time I have started this journal, as something randomly glitches in Eclipse and it deletes what I typed and there's no saved draft in my stash). :nuu: Hello! :wave: OneWithTheStars here and ready to rampage as I try in futility to craft a group journal in the wreckage of Eclipse. Anyway, welcome to @ProjectDFC's 2020 installment of Jubilant Japanese June! JUBILANT JAPANESE JUNE (JJJ) ProjectDFC was defined on its love for poetic forms. And not just the forms that many of us are accustomed to seeing, but trying to grasp various forms from around the world for the exposure to the many different ones various regions have to offer as well as try our hands at them, even when our native languages/structures may not flow as well as the traditional languages they herald from. The goal is a literary adventure across the planet and I hope everyone can enjoy that spirit. :heart: One of the regions that made it into the monthly collection of challenges

Hey, you did the tag, cool! It was intresting to learn about your OC Mackenzie. If I may ask, how did you decide on his name?
