7-Day Drawing Challenge
Day 5 - Blue

I had such grand plans for today's color--blue is my favorite color, after all--but the execution in my opinion fell flat.  Maybe because I had higher hopes than for the other days?  I did use three separate shades of blue pencils in each vial/flask, but it's not as noticeable as I had intended.  It is done, however, and will complement the rest of the drawings well, both in its theme as well as the visual effect.

Actually, the more I look at the original drawing, the shade variety is there; even with saturation correction in Photoshop, I can't duplicate what the scanner muted.  Oh well!
